Sunday October 14, 2007: Maxwell AFB, the headquarters of USAF Air University, has an amazing history. In February of 1910, the Wright Brothers opened one of the world's first flying schools here. They taught the principles flying including take-offs, balancing, turning, and landings. I took these pictures tonight after our NSC picnic outside of the SOC.
